These are the terms for the NorthPortList.com free advertising trial. They're meant to be short and plain: no contracts, no credit card, and no commitment on either side.
Qualified local businesses serving the North Port, Florida area may run an ad on NorthPortList.com free of charge for six months. Whether a business qualifies, which placement it's offered, and whether an ad is accepted at all is decided by NorthPortList at its sole discretion. We are not obligated to accept any applicant or to explain a decision not to.
There is no contract to sign and no minimum term. An advertiser may ask us to stop running their ad at any time, for any reason, with no penalty. NorthPortList may also remove or decline to continue running any ad at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion.
We do not collect or store credit card or other payment information to begin the free trial. Nothing is ever auto-billed. If an advertiser wants to continue running ads after the free trial period, pricing and terms for that would be discussed and agreed to separately, in advance — there is no automatic conversion to a paid placement.
NorthPortList reserves the right to approve, reject, edit for size or format, or remove any ad creative at its sole discretion, including after it has begun running. Ads must be for a real, legitimate local business and must not be false, misleading, or unlawful.
We do not guarantee a specific number of impressions, clicks, placement duration, or business results from any ad. Placement is on a best-effort basis across the pages and formats described on our Advertise page.
We may update these terms as the advertising program develops. The version posted here is the current one. If you have questions about how a change affects an existing placement, contact us directly.
